Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the technology platforms/teams, which are responsible for the following: marketing technology (Marketo), customer engagement (Adobe), CRM (Salesforce), digital products and integration (AWS), business intelligence and data analytics (PowerBI)
- Development and execution of technology roadmap - prioritization and scoping of technology releases in collaboration with business team across areas inclusive of but not limited to web, customer service, marketing automation, eCommerce, integration platforms, and analytics with a focus on time to value and return on investment
- Designing solution architectures that are adaptable and flexible to meet current and future business needs
- Lead, motivate/inspire your team to deliver technology solutions that align to the business strategy and drive business outcomes
- Agile delivery of technology solutions to support continuous improvements
- Maintaining working knowledge of emerging technology trends, customer intelligence, the competitive landscape, and the external market to drive innovation
- Serving as an advisor to the senior leadership team on technology trends
- Being a strategic partner to the functional/business owners of the technology platforms
- Identifying technology investment needs and managing technology department budget
- Working with software vendors and partners to ensure that service levels are maintained, and any new features are delivered as expected
- Working with/liaising/partnering with the Optum and UHG technical teams to maximize contract values, chargeback resources and changes to technology policy, compliance, and requirements
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders across Advisory Board and fostering engagement and excitement across the organization about technology capabilities and adoption
- Serving as a leadership role model for department and company culture and diversity, equity, and inclusion priorities
- Establish effective vendor partnerships through architecting clear statements of work, aiding in the selection process in collaboration with business stakeholders, and managing vendors to value and promised outcomes

Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of technology experience
- 5+ years of direct experience owning, implementing, or enhancing cloud technology platforms, including or similar to Salesforce, AWS, Marketo, PowerBI, Adobe (AEM, Analytics and Target)
- 5+ years Technology Consulting experience
- History of success building, managing, developing, and retaining high functioning technology teams
- Understanding of innovative, cutting-edge technology and how to use it to improve business processes and operational effectiveness
- Demonstrated leadership skills in strategic planning, business and market development, and operations
- Ability to oversee large projects/programs that require problem identification, data synthesis, creation of recommendations, and implementation skills
- Experience creating and managing a technology department budget
- Experience leading successful efforts across the full system lifecycle inclusive of requirements gathering, design, build, testing, and deployment
- Experience designing and implementing in multi-channel or omnichannel environments
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in changing business and technology landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of Big 5 Consulting experience
- Vendor selection and management experience
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
