What You Will Do:
As part of AMCP’s Leadership Team, you will:
Innovate and Strategize: Develop long-term strategic visions and annual operating plans tailored to AMCP members' needs, collaborating with various AMCP departments.
Provide Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of healthcare trends that are impacting managed care pharmacy and represent AMCP in external engagements.
Lead the AMCP Foundation: Serve as the Executive Director, providing strategic direction, overseeing programs, and growing the Foundation through strong internal and external relationships.
Support Program Development: Explore, design, and implement projects and partnerships that align with AMCP and Foundation priorities, and seek financial support for thought leadership initiatives.
Mentor and Develop Teams: Lead and inspire teams, provide feedback, and support their professional growth to ensure the delivery of exceptional resources and tools for AMCP members.

Who We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will be:
A Managed Care Pharmacy Expert: With a Pharmacy or Healthcare background and 15+ years of progressively responsible positions.
Member-Centric: Committed to attracting and retaining AMCP's membership base through innovative and forward-thinking initiatives.
A Strategic Thinker: Capable of developing and implementing strategic plans that support AMCP and Foundation goals.
A Relationship Builder: Skilled at developing and maintaining effective relationships to encourage communication and teamwork.
An Effective Leader: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams, with at least five years of experience in leadership roles.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years in managed care pharmacy and five years in team leadership/management.
Skills: Strong financial management, decision-making, project management, and relationship-building skills.
