As an e-communications specialist, you’ll work independently and collaboratively as part of the Provider Communications Team within Optum Behavioral Health. You’ll support execution of our digital communication strategies and have a direct impact on how our 450,000+ providers receive communication from us. A key focus will be creating a best-in-class provider website experience and interface. Excellent technical, verbal and written communication skills will be crucial to your success in this role.

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day content management and maintenance for the Providerexpress.com website using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and for organizational assets using Digital Asset Manager (DAM). Work is a combination of repeatable tasks, new projects/design and long-term strategic planning and implementation
- Collaborate with the team’s web consultant to improve the user experience and site structure/page relationships
- Develop new pages and implement ad hoc design updates, as needed, using Optum brand standards
- Manage design, development, distribution and analysis of provider emails via HTML and SalesForce (migrating to Adobe Journey Optimizer) as the team’s primary outbound communication channel
- Guide development of SEO strategies to optimize content both externally and internally. Develop and monitor KPIs, and continually enhance strategies to ensure content is easily accessible
- Work closely with colleagues and internal stakeholders to evaluate existing digital communication channels, assess business needs, help develop strategic roadmaps and implement improvements
- Support communication measurement activities, including providing results to stakeholders, monitoring trends and maintaining best practices
- Help develop and maintain digital guidelines, standards and best practices
- Maintain strong working knowledge of Optum Health/Optum Behavioral Health business policies and procedures

Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of web development and content management experience
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience Website evolution including:
- strategic assessment
- UI/UX
- Wireframing
- prototyping
- final design iterations
- 2+ years of experience and proficiency using:
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Canva
- SalesForce
- Microsoft Office
- 2+ years of experience in SEO optimization and best practices
- 2+ years of experience managing digital communications projects:
- role assignments
- timelines/milestones
- cross-functional team management
- issue tracking
- documentation deliverables
- Project Manager experience
- Demonstrated solid understanding of responsive design and web development principles
- Proven ability to perform tasks with a high level of accuracy and solid attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification
- Experience with design and development of infographics to convey information visually
- Familiarity with AP style and experience
- Intermediate proficiency in data analytics and measurement, including solid Excel skills

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
