Our UI / UX Designer plays a vital role within our organization. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include creating user-centered designs for software solutions used by health systems to improve patient care and operational efficiency. This position’s primary goal is to improve the product's usability, accessibility, and aesthetics to enhance user satisfaction. This is a hybrid position located in the Minneapolis / Twin Cities office.
What The UI / UX Designer Does Each Day
- Gathers and evaluates customer requirements related to user experience. This may involve a variety of methods including user interviews, validation of preliminary designs, A/B testing, direct observation, automated measurement of production usage
- Documents requirements in the form of user personas, journeys, process flow, use cases, wireframes.
- Creates compelling user interface designs that improve customer adoption, satisfaction, loyalty
- Designs new user interface elements to replace inefficient or outmoded elements in current products
- Ensures the user interface is intuitive and user-friendly
- Collaborates with product managers and engineers to review customer requirements, brainstorm ideas and turn those ideas into documented requirements

Minimum Requirements For This Role
- BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
- 3+ years’ proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Portfolio of design projects
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Balsamiq, Figma)
- Knowledge of usage tracking tools (e.g. MixPanel, Pendo)
- Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
