Job Description
The intern will work closely with the Transdermal Manufacturing Operations team to support improvement projects and conduct time-motion studies within the manufacturing environment. This role will provide exposure to the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, emphasizing continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing improvement projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency and productivity in the transdermal manufacturing area.
- Conduct time-motion studies to analyze workflow processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Learn about transdermal pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and the principles of good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and support project management initiatives.
- Document findings and recommendations, preparing reports for management review.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Engineering, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data effectively.
- Familiarity with project management principles and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma or GED—Required
- Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate program—Required
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0—Required
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must commit to the full 10-12-week duration of the internship.
