The intern will work closely with the Transdermal Manufacturing Operations team to support improvement projects and conduct time-motion studies within the manufacturing environment. This role will provide exposure to the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, emphasizing continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in performing improvement projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency and productivity in the transdermal manufacturing area.
Conduct time-motion studies to analyze workflow processes and identify areas for improvement.
Learn about transdermal pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and the principles of good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and support project management initiatives.
Document findings and recommendations, preparing reports for management review.
Qualifications & Skills:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Engineering, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data effectively.
Familiarity with project management principles and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with cross-functional teams.

Education:
High School diploma or GED—Required
Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate program—Required
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0—Required
Additional Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must commit to the full 10-12-week duration of the internship.
