Job Description
Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a motivated IT Cybersecurity Intern for Summer 2025 to support our Cybersecurity team. This internship provides hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance while working closely with experienced professionals in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with NIST SP-800-61 incident response operations and continuous improvement.
- Support attack surface assessments and risk reduction initiatives.
- Contribute to the implementation of the NIST SP-800-53 risk management framework.
- Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley regulatory compliance and IT General Controls operations.
- Utilize cybersecurity systems, including SIEM and firewall functionality, and assist with Windows and/or UNIX server configuration.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity systems, including SIEM, firewall functionality, and server configuration.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office, including Excel for data analysis and graphing, and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma or GED—Required
- Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate program—Required
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0—Required
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must commit to the full 10-12-week duration of the internship.
