Our Manager, Accounting plays a vital role within our organization. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include leading the accounts receivable, accounts payable comprised of 10 team members. Responsibilities also include establishing and maintaining internal controls intended to enhance the precision of reported financial outcomes, mitigate risks, and ensure that reported results comply with financial reporting standards and regularly accepted accounting principles in the United States. What The Manager, Accounting Does Each Day
- Provide quality assurance, oversight and management of payroll, A/P, A/R teams
- Bi-monthly reporting of AR aging and collection status
- Troubleshoot daily transaction issues
- Ensure proper accruals are recorded at month end
- Ensure proper accounting of prepaid balances
- Preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Audit support
- Manage invoice discrepancies and aged vouchers payable for timely resolution
- Continuously develop, evaluate and document operational and accounting policies and procedures to ensure strong efficient controls exist and that we strive for continual process improvement
- Support post-acquisition accounting integration for new units
- Other ad hoc projects as needed

Minimum Requirements For This Role
- 5+ years progressive accounting/finance experience
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills to interpret complex documents and financial information, strong time management and organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines, a high degree of accuracy in work products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated PC and software skills, familiarity with financial computer programs including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively handle stress to meet established deadlines and/or time sensitive ad hoc inquiries. Customer Service must be oriented to establish good rapport with various stakeholders using written correspondence, proper phone etiquette and other effective interpersonal skills
- 18+ years of age
- Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
