QuVa Pharma is excited to support the growth and development of our Facilities Engineering Intern. This person will work closely with the Facilities Maintenance team. This position will be fully integrated with the Facilities Maintenance team on the daily operations to support the resolution of Facilities and Utilities issues. This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting industry, as well as to learn the insides of the Facilities Maintenance operations within a GMP manufacturing environment. This is a role working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM based on site in our Corporate - Sugar Land, TX location.
What The Facilities Engineering Intern Does Each Day
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all facilities and Utility equipment
- Manage and supervise facility maintenance contractors, and vendors as required
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities in work order system
- Provide technical guidance with facilities and/or utility equipment on complex problems
- Preparing detailed facilities reports and compliance documentation.
- Improving the facilities’ operations by evaluating and determining the constraints and timelines to complete the tasks
- Reading and analyzing blueprints, drawings, as well as rough sketches
- Establish reliability plans based on equipment performance

Minimum Requirements For This Role
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- High school diploma or GED from recognized institution or organization required
- Must be actively pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in engineering, with an anticipated graduation date within the next two years
- Must be in good standing with accredited institution where pursuing degree
- Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Any Of The Following Will Give You An Edge
- MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills. Understanding other technology platforms, a plus
- Problem solving, project management and communication skills are necessary, as is the ability to operate in a team
- Preferred working knowledge of cGMPs and regulatory requirements as well as all applicable SOPs
