We are looking for another dedicated person to join us. We have an immediate opening for a full time Lead Production Planner (7:00 am - 4:00 pm) at our Springboro, OH location. If you have a passion for excellence and would like to join a thriving company then we'd like to talk to you.
Required
The Lead Production Planner is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the production planning activities. Duties include a specific focus on the materials required in the production phase, ensuring the inventory levels are properly maintained in order to have optimal performance. Other duties; not, limited to:
- Creates batch records, jobs and job travelers daily to support Scheduler and Production for published and manual jobs. Delivers document to job centers per the agreed-upon deadlines.
- Confers with the Operations Manager and leadership to determine the status of schedules, deviations and materials to revise schedules, as necessary, to meet customer demands. Promptly informs the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
- Maintains and monitors materials supply, stock level, inventory flow and identifies any shortages or bottlenecks in usage.
- Requests internal warehouse transfers based on stocking levels.
- Supervises and coordinates process change to support the build schedule.
- Leads team with daily troubleshooting as needed.
Attention to detail is a must. Minimum requirements are basic computer experience and basic knowledge in MS Word and Excel. Minimum requires are a HS Diploma or G.E.D. One-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. College courses in Biology, Chemistry and Physics are preferred, as is previous manufacturing experience in a FDA and/or ISO-regulated facility.
