We are looking for another dedicated person to join us. We have an immediate opening for a full time AR/AP Specialist in Springboro, OH. The AR/AP Specialist will be responsible for AR and AP; including, some collections. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong willingness to learn, good interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor.
Additionally, The AR/AP Specialist Will Be Responsible For
Accounts Payable Duties - Engage with Purchasing Department to resolve PO invoice discrepancies, confirm validity of credit memos, Posting AP, PO and credit notes to ERP system. Prepare weekly check run, updates daily all AP invoices and maintains AP email box.
Accounts Receivable Duties - Process AR invoicing daily and credit memos as needed. Maintain an acceptable Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) for assigned customers, collect past due invoices, process credit card payments verifying accuracy of payment.
Vendor Management - Answer vendor emails and phone calls regarding payments, requests for new supplier set-ups, manage and update vendor records and assist with yearly preparation and distribution of 1099's.
Customer Account Management - Resolve overpayment and short payment issues, research Proof of Delivery (POD) for shipping confirmations, fulfill customer requests for invoice copies and statements.
AA, AS Degree in Accounting with relative Accounting experience of 2+ years. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
