This role will support the Optum Insight revenue portfolio, with ownership of real-time forecasting, focusing on the Payment Integrity business. Success in this role will be dependent on an ability to lead, navigate and influence strategic change across a matrix environment, communicate effectively, quickly adapt to changing priorities in the context of a fast paced and high-growth environment that has a long-term commitment to making health care better for everyone.

Primary Responsibilities - Financial Modeling:
- Create and refine financial models to support business decisions
- Evaluate financial performance and identify areas for improvement
- Present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
- Data Interpretation and Analysis:
- Interpret and analyze large sets of financial data to uncover trends and insights
- Utilize data visualization techniques to present findings in a clear and compelling manner
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations and narratives that support strategic decision-making
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Utilize tools such as SQL, Python, or others to automate tasks and standardize reporting

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent
- 3+ years of proven experience in revenue forecasting, financial modeling and process improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software tools quickly
- Proven to be self-motivated, results-oriented and assertive individual
- Proven exceptional communication, presentation skills, and problem solving skills
- Proven multi-tasking capabilities; professionally handles pressure of meeting multiple, high-priority dealings
- Proven to adhere to an EST time zone
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI or equivalent
- Experience with complex volume based forecasting

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
