We're hiring an experienced pharmacy technician for a contract job in Boston, MA, where your expertise will directly support pharmacists in delivering exceptional care. Minimum Requirements:
- Massachusetts pharmacy technician license required.
- National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or ExCPT) required.
- Minimum 2 years inpatient pharmacy technician experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with Pyxis automated dispensing systems required.
- Experience with EPIC medication and pharmacy workflows required.
- Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT-Adv) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–4 years inpatient pharmacy technician experience preferred.
- Prior experience supporting carousel operations and ADC replenishment preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 07:00 - 15:00.
- Shift Pattern: Monday–Friday, 5x8.
- May include evening or weekend rotations per operational needs (E/O Weekend noted).
- Support responsibilities include Pyxis/ADS replenishment, carousel operations, medication delivery, inventory tasks, pneumatic tube workflows, and occasional support for Hospital at Home workflows.

Impacting Patient Care
The pharmacy technician supports daily inpatient pharmacy operations by assembling, stocking, and distributing medications, supporting automated dispensing cabinet workflows, assisting with inventory management and carousel activities, and maintaining accurate documentation.
