A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school setting in Aurora, IL, to cover a leave through the end of the current school year (May 22, 2026). This contract position is designed to support a self-contained caseload within an Early Childhood Center, providing specialized speech and language services to young students.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in a self-contained setting
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and modify therapy goals as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and regulations
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as required
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC certification preferred)
- Ability to work on-site; no virtual or remote options available
- Familiarity with early childhood developmental needs is a plus
