A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, with opportunities for part-time candidates and flexible hybrid scheduling. This role supports an elementary school environment serving approximately 500-600 students in grades K-5, with some responsibilities for evaluations in the adjacent middle school.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including assessments for Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) within RTI frameworks
- Collaborate with educators and staff to implement Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) effectively within a K-5 setting
- Provide consultation to teachers and families to support student behavioral and academic success
- Participate in intervention planning and progress monitoring across academic and social-emotional domains
- Maintain accurate records and documentation adhering to compliance standards for the schools MTSS and RTI initiatives
Desired Qualifications
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in elementary school settings, ideally with knowledge of K-5 developmental stages
- Familiarity with MTSS and Response to Intervention (RTI) models, especially for identifying and supporting SLD
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both staff and families
- Ability to work in a hybrid professional environment with flexibility in scheduling
