Licensure Requirements: Must have open, active, and in good standing
IN State Pharmacy Technician License
Education: HS Diploma
Years of Experience: 2+ years of experience in a LTC setting
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $31.00
Background/ Drug Requirements: Must be willing to submit to a background check, health and drug screen
Overnight IV Pharmacy TechnicianJob Responsibilities:• Prepare and compound intravenous (IV) medications and solutions in a long-term care pharmacy setting according to physician orders and established protocols
• Accurately measure, mix, and prepare sterile IV admixtures using aseptic technique in compliance with USP <797> standards
• Review and interpret physician orders for completeness and accuracy before compounding
• Maintain detailed documentation of all IV preparations, including batch records and quality control logs
• Monitor and maintain cleanroom environments, including hood certification and environmental monitoring
• Perform quality assurance checks on finished IV products to ensure accuracy and sterility
• Manage inventory of IV supplies and medications, ensuring proper storage and rotation
• Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Package and label IV preparations according to regulatory requirements and facility policies
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry standards and best practices
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures
