Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Work with HR and payroll service provider to account for payroll and associated taxes.
- Record self-insurance medical benefits, bonus accrual and sales incentive accrual.
- Accrue professional services and other expenses.
- Record lease entries.
- Prepare journal entries and support.
- Prepare monthly GL account reconciliations using Blackline.
- Support consolidations team in running scripts and reports from the consolidation systems.
- Support consolidations team in Monthly, Quarterly and Annual footnote and flux analysis process.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to accelerate the close and reporting timelines; automate manual procedures and computations.
- Develop a detailed understanding of business processes and connect them with financial results
- Ensure 100% SOX compliance

Qualifications
Expected Skills
- Chartered Accountant with experience in core accounting for 2+ years (less than 10 years).
- Working with people: build relationships at all levels and proactively communicate with employees and managers
- Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative team environment and in developing staff
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate analytical and qualitative abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated and directed; ability to prioritize tasks for self and for team
- Must have a strong customer service background
