Job Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Technology Implementation:
- Cordinate and lead for all existing and future Industry 4.0 Use cases under implementation or planned in future as per guidance from Head, Digitalisation and Automation.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement new Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance operational processes and efficiency.
- Coordinate with IT, engineering, operations and other cross functional teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Data Management and Analytics:
- Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure accurate and reliable data collection, storage, and analysis.
- Utilize advanced analytics systems to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within operational processes and solve business problems.
- Establish and maintain digital dashboards and reporting systems to track project performance and key metrics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including operations, QA, IT, and engineering teams, to align Industry 4.0 efforts with business needs.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with external vendors and technology partners to ensure access to cutting-edge Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Work with Head, Digitalization and Automation to develop and implement a strategic roadmap for Industry 4.0 technology initiatives aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead the Industry 4.0 Use cases efforts within the operations team, focusing on integrating advanced technologies into existing processes.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through the adoption of Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Project Management:
- Oversee, manage and drive all current and future Industry 4.0 projects, including AR/VR, Simulation, IIOT, Digital Twin, NLP, AI, Gen AI and all other Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Plan, execute, and monitor new Industry 4.0 projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all Industry 4.0 projects comply with regulatory requirements, such as USFDA, EU GMP, and ISO standards as per project/site requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Industry 4.0 projects, including validation protocols, user manuals, and training materials (if required)
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of Industry 4.0 systems.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor industry trends and advancements in Industry 4.0 technologies to identify opportunities for future projects.
- Review the recent updates from World Economic Forum, review their white paper and share the updates to reporting Manager as and when required.
- Work with manager to prepare a roadmap for potential Lighthouse Manufacturing Unit in Amneal.
- Provide training and support to operations teams on new Industry 4.0 tools and processes.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Idustry 4.0 projects within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
- Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies, such as VR, IoT, AI, NLP, Gen AI, Simulation, Digital twin, and blockchain.
- Skills:
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Technical expertise in Industry 4.0 tools, platforms, and technologies relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data analytics for informed decision-making.
- Proactive and innovative approach, with a passion for driving digital transformation.
