We are seeking a
Senior Project Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA; Austin, TX; or St. Petersburg, FL office.
Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for implementing complex IT solutions for enterprise-level healthcare provider clients in the U.S. Duties include preparing project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing. This role will manage both Imprivata and client teams, as well as third-party vendors, to deliver integrated solutions. Expertise in project management is required. The Senior Project Manager will provide clear communication of project progress through regular reporting, status meetings, and maintaining project plans. This role also contributes to the development of Imprivata’s professional services methodologies, particularly in project oversight and management.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality software solutions on-time and on-budget, exceeding client expectations.
- Manage all aspects of enterprise-level project delivery, including scheduling, task management, and resource allocation.
- Prioritize and manage expectations across internal and external contributors.
- Keep leadership informed through regular project reviews and ad hoc updates.
- Establish and maintain project plans from kickoff to production rollout, partnering with clients to resolve issues and manage risks.
- Track and report on project status, time usage, and deliverable achievements.
- Provide assistance in the agreement process, including SOW review, effort, and budget estimates.
- Build and maintain solid client and partner relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services and support.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of involved Project Management experience in large-scale deployments, preferably within healthcare services or systems integration.
- PMP or PgMP certification preferred; 10+ years of experience in the software industry.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Excel, and CRM systems (Salesforce.com), with experience in PSA platforms (e.g., OpenAir, FinancialForce).
- Effective leadership, communication, and social skills with experience managing staff in an operational environment.
- Autonomous problem-solving, self-motivation, and a positive customer service attitude.
- Proven ability to drive projects to completion in complex, matrixed corporate environments.
- Exceptional customer management, conflict resolution, and executive-level influence skills.
- Ability to adjust to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
This position offers a salary range of $125,000.00 to $154,409.00 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
