As a Sr. Regulatory Affairs Analyst, you will be an individual contributor on our Regulatory Affairs team. You will research, document, communicate and monitor implementation of regulatory changes in the health care system. It's an opportunity to make a huge impact.

Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor new state and federal laws and regulations
- Review and draft analyses of regulatory changes and identify potential impact to assigned business segments. Excellent writing skills are essential. The ideal candidate must be able to summarize and analyze complex regulatory concepts clearly and concisely, and tailor their writing to various audiences and platforms. Attention to detail and grammar proficiency are crucial for this role
- Communicate and serve as a subject matter expert on new regulatory requirements for business partners
- Provide oversight on implementations to ensure compliance measures are met
- Collect data, coordinate, and develop reports, and maintain internal and external documentation in tracking tool
- Interact with individuals across all levels of the organization, developing relationships to ensure effective communication and cooperation
- Ensure timely completion of special projects as directed

Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience working in a healthcare/health insurance environment in a regulatory, compliance or related role
- Experience analyzing moderately complex laws or regulations
- Proficiency with verbal, written and oral communication
- Proven solid analytic skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to work independently, seeking guidance on more complex issues
- Proven ability to collaborate with legal, regulatory affairs, and compliance business partners cross-functionally to ensure regulatory requirements are met, with appropriate supervision
Preferred Qualification
- Experience using organizational software tools (i.e. eGRC)

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
