Optum at Home is on a journey to deliver enhanced care coordination and support to DSNP members through the industry's shift to integrated Medicaid. During this transformation, Optum has the opportunity to continue to serve and grow DSNP members and serve new populations including those eligible or enrolled on Medicaid waivers.
The Market Solutions and Operations team is committed to the success of DSNP and waiver integration to meet market-based requirements and achieve clinical differentiation based on insight and relationships. We are focused on clinical solutioning to bring together the Optum building blocks of a leading clinical model. We are looking for VP Market Clinical Operations leader to help create our path forward.

Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as key contact and partner to act as voice of market which includes in depth understanding of state dynamics, opportunities and Medicaid contract requirements with a focus on clinical or care coordination
- Build strong C&S market-based relationships as well as influential team member to bring together stakeholders across OptumHealth including OptumCare to meet state based needs and requirements. This role is critical to understand OptumHealth leading capabilities and our national Optum at Home model to apply best practices at a market level
- Partner with Optum product and solutioning operations experts to design and influence market clinical strategy and differentiation based on population needs ahead of RFPs
- Key lead to represent market clinical based solution to influence UHC RFP readiness and support in partnership with UHC growth and market leadership
- Solid and effective executive communication skills including verbal and written communication with resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Expert to support building of waiver clinical model and ability to support implementation of new models

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience within Managed Care and Medicaid
- 10+ years of supporting DSNP, waiver or LTSS populations
- Experience on clinical care coordination models and operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse or equivalent licensure
- Ability to travel up to 25%

The salary range for this role is $150,200 to $288,500 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable.
