Who we’re looking for: (Job Summary)
The
Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of auditing, analyzing, reconciling, processing and troubleshooting the sales and administrative fee reporting supplied by contracted Business Partners. The Data Quality Analyst will also manage all reporting submissions, including dispensing data, per the terms of the MHA member and Business Partner agreements. An essential part of this position is to resolve discrepancies and perform in-depth audits, analyzing gaps and scouting missing revenue opportunities. The Data Quality Analyst will manage the accurate and timely processing, validation and payment of administrative fees and rebates to ensure accurate reporting is accessible to multiple divisions across MHA. To do so, the Data Quality Analyst will maintain the repository of administrative fee and rebate parameters and schedules while verifying contract terms and working with Business Partners/Vendors and internal departments (Contracts, Membership and Finance).
What You’ll Be Doing:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Validate administrative fee and rebate payments by comparing the Forecast and estimates to Business Partner payments.
- Identify and track data and reporting errors or inconsistencies via Audit Process and effectively narrate issues until resolution is found.
- Generate missing data and payment reports, follow-up with MHA’s Business Partners for pertinent data files and corresponding payments to ensure timely appending prior to initiating rebate process and audit analysis.
- Generate member-level baseline rebate estimates for validation, issuance and distribution by MHA internal Sales and Finance teams.
- Ensure that all data, calculations and payments comply with the terms and conditions of the Business Partner, member agreements and corresponding schedules.
- Collect sales and purchasing reports from MHA’s Business Partners to calculate and audit administrative fees and rebates that MHA and/or MHA members receive from contracting products
- Update applications and/or backend jobs to reflect changes in administrative fee or rebate terms and conditions to ensure that administrative fee reports are properly appended and rebates are accurately calculated and distributed.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing and tracking of all assigned Business Partner contractual requirements as well as periodic and ad hoc reports or projects.
- Work with Sales and Trade to ensure clarity of rebate terms and conditions prior to execution of rebates.
What You’ll Bring to the Table: - Bachelor Degree/Associate’s Degree OR equivalent work experience required.
- 2+ years accounting data analysis experience where attention to detail and high degree of accuracy preferred.
- Ability to efficiently enter data into corporate applications completely and accurately.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookup), Word, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in Cognos software application preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, well organized and the ability to self-manage and work with minimal guidance.
- Must have good attitude, interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with Vendors and other external parties.
- Ability to comprehensively review and interpret data in order to apply corporate procedures for processing data.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify and resolve data issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to prioritize work and function independently.
- Professional demeanor in performing job responsibilities and when interacting with others.
- Attendance and punctuality with commitment to arrive to work on time and ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent.
