Position: Sr. Director, Trade Relations

Reports To: VP Trade Relations
Primary Function
The incumbent is responsible for presiding over the maintenance of strategic relationships with brand vendors and overseeing assignments in support of brand contracts. Responsible for helping the company to achieve financial goals and increase operating performance.
Job Scope And Major Responsibilities
- Ensure highly productive manufacturer/vendor relationships and partnerships for the benefit of the organization.
- Manage select brand contracts as directed by VP and perform any administrative duties assigned
- Develop strategies for creating data contracts with manufacturer/vendors
- Facilitate negotiation process and management of key manufacturer/vendor agreements
- Develop and negotiate contracts for orphan drug access
- Negotiate direct purchase agreements
- Lead RFP’s and bid process for specific programs as directed by company leadership
- Compile market intelligence
- Provide oversight for data analysis, management and reporting to manufacturers
- Troubleshoot with manufacturers/vendors
- Provide product information and education to Armada sales team as needed
- Initiate updates to website with program and rebate announcements as required
- Oversee database, rebate programs and all relevant brand contract communications including Key Program Guide for assigned manufacturers/vendors
- Implement special projects as requested by senior management
- Compliance with the provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and its implementing regulations, as amended (“HIPAA”)
Performance Criteria
Performance in this role is measured by successful maintenance of existing relationships/ programs and development of new relationships/programs as well as direction of team’s timely completion of tasks.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate has obtained Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management and or related experience is required. Candidate must have exemplary communication, organizational and time management skills. Pharmaceutical and or Pharmacy (Specialty Pharmacy) experience preferred
