What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to work closely with experienced engineers and product teams to contribute to the development of innovative software solutions. You’ll assist in the implementation of new features and enhancements, gaining hands-on experience while supporting various engineering projects.
Your day to day would include:
- Collaborating with senior engineers to assist in the design and implementation of software features from concept to deployment
- Participating in code reviews and maintain code quality by following best practices
- Contributing to the development of web solutions and applications under the guidance of lead engineers
- Engaging in problem-solving discussions to refine requirements and improve system functionality
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of the team's projects and objectives
- Supporting the team in integrating new technologies and tools that enhance productivity
- Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving software defects, providing effective solutions
- Participating in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Documenting processes, code changes, and system functionalities for team reference and knowledge sharing
What You’ll Need:
- 1-2 years of professional experience in software engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Basic understanding of object-oriented design principles and software development methodologies
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Exposure to web development frameworks and tools (e.g., Spring, React, or similar)
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with generative AI tools and frameworks such as OpenAI GPT, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor to enhance software development efficiency
- Ability to apply AI-driven solutions for coding, debugging, and problem-solving tasks

The estimated base salary range for this role is $80,000-90,000/year in addition to an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all of these factors. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
