Sr. Analytics Engineer (340B)
This position will be responsible for analyzing Omnicell 340B business functions, processes, and activities to improve computer-based business applications for the most effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people.
An extensive working knowledge of SQL Server using T-SQL is required for analysis and troubleshoot business data such as pharmacies and claim data.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Microsoft SSMS, SQL Reporting Services or equivalent tool set to analyze stored procedures and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, account management and pharmacy consultants to fix operational system issues including reports using Microsoft SSMS.
- Review business rules in existing applications
- Must have the ability to communicate with client business and technology representatives concerning data format and transfer requirements.
- Application Testing
- Documentation of applications and change tracking.
- Work with internal partners to improve and expand on existing analytical capabilities.
- Understand pharmacy claim data and transform data from disparate sources for use within the organization.
- Assist in other technical projects as needed.
- Working assigned tickets and managing competing priorities. Process includes research, troubleshooting and applying data changes. No programming code changes will be needed but will involve researching code to identify root cause.
- Lead the 2-member Alerts Team and provide technical consultation for day to day issues.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience developing solutions that leverage Microsoft Office products.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with extensive experience working with Excel.
- Detail-oriented
- Solid, independent worker (this position will likely be based in the applicant’s home)
- Creativity and flexibility are a must. Omnicell is a dynamic environment and requires a candidate that is comfortable facing new challenges.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must have 10+ years’ experience utilizing Microsoft SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, SQL Reporting Services or equivalent tool set for importing and transforming data using T-SQL scripting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the pharmacy industry and pharmacy data, 340B drug pricing program experience is a plus.
- Preferred background of 3-5 years working with pharmacy data and in-depth understanding of prescription claims adjudication and PBM platforms.
- Experience with data interchange files. X12, HL7, NCPDP preferred.
- Experience with EMR systems (EPIC, Centricity, Meditech) is a plus
