General Summary And Purpose
The Financial Accountant is a core member of the Finance Team. The Financial Accountant is responsible for maintaining the general ledger, performing period end close tasks, managing fixed asset systems, and assisting with cost accounting tasks. This position works closely with the Operational Accounting team, Payroll team, and Technical Accounting Manager with opportunities to further develop processes within our rapidly growing company. The Financial Accountant has experience with full cycle general ledger accounting the ambition to learn and grow as a member of a public company accounting team.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform period end close tasks and account reconciliations.
- Manage and administer the Fixed Asset System including physical asset tracking.
- Perform cost accounting tasks associated with the Company’s various product lines, including but not limited to analysis of materials costs, and costs incurred directly or indirectly during production.
- Review and process intercompany transactions related to payroll, benefits, and other activities.
- Perform lease accounting tasks under ASC 842.
- Support the Company’s interim review and annual audit.
- Preparing journal entries within the Company’s ERP system.
- Perform VAT tasks and analysis, including managing quarterly filing process.
- Understand, adhere, and aid in improving all internal control processes and responsibilities.
- Assists the Accounting Manager and Assistant Controller with special projects as needed.

Job Requirements
- Strong foundation of knowledge in US GAAP
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment, and accomplish those tasks in a detailed, timely manner
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of organization
- Sound interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and customers
- Ability to accurately enter data into systems
- Ability to quickly learn new software applications and create ad hoc reports
Job Specifications
Required Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Three (3) years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger, fixed assets and cost accounting
- At least one (1) years of experience completing period end close accounting tasks or working with a public accounting audit firm.
- Proficient in accounting systems & software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in accounting for a public entity
- Experience with Fixed Asset administration
- Experience with GAAP inventory accounting and reconciliation, including periodic inventory counts.
- Financial Statement preparation
- Financial and Internal Control audit experience
- Working in a cGMP regulated environment.

The US base salary range for this position at full-time is $73,542 - $110,313 per year. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, location, and market competitive benchmarks. Individual pay within a level is determined by work location (including geographic pay zone region), job related skills, experience, education, and training.
