Who are we looking for?
Salesforce Engineer, you will be part of our Engineering team, working closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain solutions within Salesforce. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong technical background, a passion for problem-solving, and an interest in Salesforce development. You will gain hands-on experience with Salesforce tools and technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Flow, while contributing to critical projects that enhance our platform’s functionality and drive business outcomes.
What will you do?
Salesforce Development & Customization:
- Develop and maintain custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Flow.
- Build automation and workflows to improve business processes.
- Create and manage custom objects, fields, page layouts, and validation rules.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with business stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer service teams, to understand their requirements and deliver Salesforce solutions that meet their needs.
- Collaborate with senior developers and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce projects.
Testing & Deployment:
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing of Salesforce applications.
- Assist in deploying solutions from development to production environments using change sets or Salesforce DevOps tools.
Troubleshooting & Support:
- Troubleshoot issues within the Salesforce environment and provide timely resolutions.
- Assist in resolving technical issues reported by end-users or other departments.
Continuous Learning & Development:
- Stay current with new Salesforce releases and best practices.
- Engage in training and certification opportunities to deepen your Salesforce knowledge and expertise.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices.
This is an onsite position at our office in San Diego, CA.
What education and experience do you need?
A combination of the following education and experience factors will be considered:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I) are a plus but not required.
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or similar (knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components is a plus).
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and Salesforce platform features.
- Understanding of relational databases and querying languages like SQL.
- Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a passion for finding creative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Experience:
- Previous experience with Salesforce is a plus but not required. Any internship, personal projects, or coursework related to Salesforce development or CRM platforms is a bonus.

What does the position pay:
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
The expected range for this role is $33.50 – $38.50 hourly compensation. Please note this range is an estimate and actual may vary based on qualifications and experience.
