Summary:
This position is responsible for the receiving, distribution, storing, and maintenance of inventory items. May oversee other materials employees, give direction, and prioritize work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adheres to all environmental, health, and safety SOP’s, equipment, policies, and procedures, including any department-specific requirements.
- Controls and maintains the flow of material through the storeroom through production or distribution.
- Assists in supporting the cycle count program and performing cycle counts.
- May coordinate the daily activities of the storeroom or shipping clerks.
- May prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Works with customer service and quality personnel to resolve issues as needed.
- May use and operate forklift equipment.
- Understand and apply the standards for control of ESD.
- Follows all applicable released procedures (i.e. QSR’s, RG, TGS, MI’s) and documents results on applicable forms.
- Receive incoming material into the facility in accordance with procedures.
- Works independently as a part of a team to achieve process yield results. May train employees on an as-needed basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Intermediate software application skills required
- Must have experience with Electronic Inventory Management Systems (MRP / ERP)
- Must be comfortable with being trained to operate a forklift. Previous experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to sit and or stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 38 lbs on a routine basis
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 65 lbs
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Plus 2-3 years related experience required

Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
