The Deals Desk team provides commercial support to Sales teams to ensure proposed sales
arrangements meet gross margin requirements, minimize commercial risk, and comply with
both discount policy and channel strategy. The key interfaces are with Sales Teams, Product
Divisions and Channel Management. Collaborative team works together, creates, innovates,
and learns to grow further as a sales organization. The role offers flexible working hours with
the possibility of home working.
Ideally will work in our Lincolnshire, IL office on a hybrid basis. 3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews special pricing requests for justification, profitability and non-standard
contract terms.
- Masters Zebra product portfolio to build product, business and competitive
intelligence.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to Sales teams, Product Management and other key
stakeholders.
- Follows corporate approval framework and related policies.
- Delivers value-added analysis to assess business dynamics (price/discount/margin
trends, volumes of special pricing requests).
- Creates and/or enhances regular and ad-hoc reports in Excel/MS Power BI.
- Support of Large Deals
- Works with Sales teams to formalize Bid Strategy
- Liaises with other support functions including legal, finance & BU
- Builds the pre bid P&Ls
- Pricing and margin reviews
- Manages the EBCR Process
- Highlights any potential Revenue Recognition issues
- Seeks approvals for Non-Standard elements as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting and/or relevant experience
- 3+ years experience working in a finance or analytical role
- Dynamic, deadline-driven environment with collaboration with multiple levels of management
- Experience with price formation, revenue recognition, commercial deals and their fulfillment
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
Preferred:
- 3+ years in a Sales Operations role
- Previous experience working with sales teams
- Ability to work with deadlines
- Problem-solving skills, excellent analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize and clearly articulate results

Salary: USD 82500.00 - USD 123700.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
