Sr. Manager, Community Impact Business Initiatives- Pharmaceutical Sales and Solutions (PSaS)
Role Overview
The Sr. Manager Business Solutions & Health Impact is primarily responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive business opportunities and revenue growth for our - Pharmaceutical Sales and Solutions (PSaS) Business through impactful community and business engagements. This role is critical in aligning community needs with business objectives to advance health outcomes,. The ideal candidate will have healthcare experience, preferably in a large organization and/or in the pharmaceutical industry. They must understand business strategic needs and translate them into relevant events, activations, and engagements that drive measurable outcomes. The role will also be responsible for partnering with the business to implement (operations) strategic programs as part of a determined portfolio of successful initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Opportunity Development
Drive Revenue Growth: Identify and develop business opportunities that align with community and corporate impact objectives, directly contributing to measurable and direct revenue growth.
Strategic Alignment: Understand the strategic needs of the business, customers, and communities to design innovative solutions that advance health equity and drive business success.
Data-Driven Impact: Utilize data and rigor to determine optimal activations that support employees, communities, and business priorities.
PSaS Impact
Collaborative Integration: Work with the Impact Innovation & Activation team and be embedded in the PSaS business to attend meetings, conferences, and events.
Employee Engagement Programs: Develop programs that drive employee community engagement and support overall business and corporate impact objectives.
Activation Design: Implement activations such as health fairs, vaccine events, literacy and education support activations, and kit building that align business, community, and company needs.
Benchmarking and Metrics: Maintain awareness of corporate impact issues, benchmark competition, and industry best practices. Develop tracking metrics to measure the impact and efficiency of programs and processes and extrapolate those to financial and operational outcomes.
Operations and Team Management
Impact Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement employee PSaS impact strategy to increase awareness, inspiration, skills, and participation in impactful opportunities.
Budget and Logistics Management: Track and maintain the annual Impact budget, oversee the disbursement of funds, and manage supporting documentation. Ensure accurate inventory and timely shipment and receipt of project-related supplies.
Program Promotion: Lead the promotion and implementation of employee programs, integrating into business segments, distribution centers, and other PSaS settings to execute key deliverables.
Communications
Instructional Content Creation: Develop instructional toolkits, FAQ documents, and email content to promote and support employee engagement in McKesson Impact Programs.
Stakeholder Reporting: Present on employee community engagement and corporate impact topics as appropriate. Develop, track, and report program metrics to key stakeholders, performing YOY analysis on program participation.
Communication Strategy Execution: Execute Corporate Impact team’s internal and external communications strategy to articulate the value of McKesson’s Corporate impact programs to key stakeholders.
Multi-Channel Engagement: Partner with internal communicators to achieve multi-channel internal and external audience reach, mobilization, and engagement.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: BS/BA required; advanced degree desirable
Strong demonstrated experience of financial acumen and business development required
Experience: Typically requires 9+ years of relevant work experience, including 1+ years of progressive management experience with budget accountability and requisite reporting.
Healthcare Background: Healthcare experience and background, pharmaceutical experience preferred.
Clinical background RN, LCSW/LMSW, CHW, CPhT not required but preferred

Team Leadership: Successful track record of leading teams to achieve business results.

Communication Proficiency: Strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to tailor messages to a wide variety of audiences.
Reporting and Analysis: Ability to create and maintain effective reporting, proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Change Management: Experience driving change management with a proven ability to influence and drive initiatives across functions, levels, and regions.
Project Prioritization: Ability to prioritize ongoing and new projects, conduct research, gather information, solve problems, and make decisions.
Judgment and Strategic Thinking: Excellent judgment and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically about program design and implementation.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
