Our Global Medical Supply Chain & Manufacturing business is currently looking for a Vice President of Manufacturing that will directly lead a team of Manufacturing Site Directors in 8 US locations inclusive of approximately 3000 employees. He/she will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of operating performance, safety, and engagement goals at each of these facilities. The Vice President of Manufacturing reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and will work closely with the business leadership team to set and deliver against both short-term and long-term business commitments.
The VP will be expected to promote a culture of employee engagement, manager effectiveness, and accountability through a clear understanding of KPIs and a consistent communication around our progress against them. She/He will also direct the management of capital assets to ensure proper capacity availability in support of business needs, lead and participate on cross-functional teams to drive implementation of manufacturing and sales/marketing, quality and safety initiatives, and direct the implementation manufacturing initiatives, as appropriate. The Vice President of Manufacturing must be a change agent and a transformational leader for network optimization.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field desired, equivalent experience, advanced degree preferred
- A minimum of 15+ years related work experience required, including 5+ years leadership experience preferred
- Experience in managing multiple sites/locations; preferably with some operations outside the US preferred
- Experience in manufacturing and materials management, with experience as a plant manager in a large corporation ideal
- Developing business-specific strategies and implementing them
- Experience in Operational Excellence (Lean Six Sigma)
- Inspirational, influential and collaborative leader, motivator, and coach
- Demonstrated experience in leading transformations and network optimization
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and drive change
- Financial and business savvy coupled with the ability to analyze metrics and manage a P&L
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to travel 75%, booking travel according to Cardinal Health’s travel policy.
- Ability to work remotely from home/field requires a dedicated, quiet, private, distraction free environment with access to high-speed internet. We will provide you with the computer, technology and equipment needed to successfully perform your job. You will be responsible for providing high-speed internet.
Anticipated base salary range: $185,000 - $285,000
*The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
