Title: Senior Associate, Compliance and Ethics Monitoring
Location: Dallas, TX (REQUIRED)
Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid position
The Senior Associate, Compliance and Ethics Monitoring will conduct compliance monitoring reviews based on Compliance and Ethics initiatives. The Senior Associate will support the seven key elements of an effective compliance program as set by the Office of Inspector General with a focus on monitoring compliance risks. This individual will document formal testing and results utilizing internal monitoring methodologies. The Senior Associate will communicate results to Compliance leadership. The Senior Associate will report directly to the Director, Compliance and Ethics, Enterprise Monitoring and Transparency. The ideal candidate will be interested in building their skills and knowledge of healthcare compliance risks and compliance monitoring.
Position Description
- Conduct compliance monitoring reviews at the direction and guidance of the Director, Sr. Managers and leadership team.
- Perform monitoring of compliance processes and controls for adherence to regulatory requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor ethical interactions with customers, suppliers, and employees.
- Utilize data analytics and information for analytical monitoring to identify outliers, anomalies, trends. Perform full population key risk indicator data analysis, where feasible.
- Maintain detailed monitoring work papers, records and prepare draft formal summary reports of monitoring results for stakeholders and management.
- Effectively communicate with monitoring stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of processes, issues/risks identified, project status, and required next steps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify root causes of observations identified.
- Support the development of safeguards and obtain corrective action plan(s) to mitigate risk(s)/issue(s) identified from monitoring.
- Monitors corrective action plans, validates effectiveness of corrective action plans/post issue follow-up resolution, and communicates statuses to leadership.
- Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders across McKesson business units and teams (e.g., Legal/Compliance and Ethics/Operations/IT).
- Provide recommendations/solutions to monitoring engagement activities.
- Support other department initiatives and deliverables, as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant work or educational experience in audit, monitoring, healthcare compliance or other related discipline(s).
- 4-year college degree or equivalent.
Certification/licensure
- CHC, CHPC or other professional compliance certifications is a plus.

- Ability to understand how applicable laws and regulations apply to monitoring and/or auditing.
- Ability to work on multiple engagements at once.
- Ability to perform process monitoring, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships that influence behaviors and outcomes.

- Excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrates clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, with key stakeholders.
- Strong English language skills, including the ability to write clearly in English and communicate effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Business process analysis skills in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Awareness of Federal and State healthcare laws and regulations (e.g., Sunshine / Open Payments, Department of Justice, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), Controlled Substances Act (CSA), Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), and Food and Drug Administration (FDA)) regulations are a plus.
