We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide expert support to ICU patients on a contract basis. Schedule/Hours
- 36 hours per week
- Balanced split: 50% day shifts, 50% night shifts
- Every other weekend (EOW) rotation
- Every other holiday (EOH) rotation
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in acute care inpatient or current ICU setting
- At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
- Excellent clinical judgment and strong communication skills
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to adapt in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill patients within the ICU
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patients’ conditions
- Collaborate closely with physicians, care providers, and support staff to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
