Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead our sales and business development efforts for IVF equipment in the South Korean market. This role will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing business opportunities, managing distributor relationships, and building strong customer relationships to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales or business development within the IVF Equipment and Consumables industry, either from a manufacturer or distributor background. Experience in IVF consumables sales is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth and achieve revenue targets for IVF equipment & consumables in South Korea
• Identify, appoint, and manage distributors and sales partners to expand market coverage
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including fertility clinics, hospitals, and research institutions
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer support, to enhance brand presence and customer satisfaction
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to senior management
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Biotech, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Minimum of 3–6 years of sales or business development experience in IVF equipment and consumables
• Strong knowledge of the IVF industry, including key stakeholders and distribution channels in South Korea
• Proven ability to establish and grow relationships with distributors and key accounts
• Experience in selling IVF consumables is preferred
• Existing network within the South Korean IVF market is a strong advantage
• Prior experience working with international manufacturers is preferred
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
• Fluent Korean and good English communication skills
• Willingness to travel as needed
