A School Psychologist opportunity is available for a contract position serving grades K-5 and 9-12 in Palm Coast, FL. This role supports students academic, social, and emotional development through psychological assessments, interventions, and collaborative planning within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual assessments to identify students' educational and mental health needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Provide consultation to teachers and staff on behavioral and learning strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) discussions
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all legal and ethical standards
Qualifications And Experience
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid Florida School Psychologist certification/license or eligibility
- Experience working with students across K-5 and high school grade levels (9-12)
- Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs
