About The Role
We’re seeking a skilled Automation Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our warehouse’s automated systems. Your work ensures smooth operations, reduces downtime, and keeps productivity high in our fast-paced distribution environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on conveyors, robotics, sortation systems, and other automated equipment..
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Make repairs or replace components to ensure optimal system performance
- Keep accurate maintenance records and equipment history
- Collaborate with warehouse operations to prioritize tasks and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Support process improvements and system upgrades in coordination with engineering and tech teams
- Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and PPE usage
What Success Looks Like
- You keep our automation systems running reliably, quickly diagnosing and repairing issues to minimize downtime and keep operations moving.
- You take a proactive approach to maintenance, spotting potential problems early and helping improve equipment performance and reliability.
- You work safely and collaboratively, partnering with operations and engineering teams while following safety standards and best practices.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing automated systems in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, actuators, and automation controls
- Ability to read technical schematics and manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification or vocational training in automation, electrical, or mechanical systems
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Compensation
- $26-$30/hour depending on experience
Schedule
- 2nd Shift: End times vary based on production needs; flexibility is required.
- Sunday: Noon until the end of production
- Monday – Thursday: 2:00 PM until the end of production

The Pay Range For This Role Is
26 - 30 USD per hour(2 - Distribution Center)
