This is a 10-week structured program beginning on June 15, 2026, and ending August 21, 2026. This will be part-time (up to 29 hours/week) with the potential to go full-time in the future.
About the role:
As a Product Management Intern, you will contribute to shaping meaningful product solutions by supporting the teams responsible for bringing XiFin’s software to life. You’ll assist in gathering and organizing customer and stakeholder feedback, documenting product requirements, and helping ensure our solutions align with user needs. In this role, you’ll learn how product decisions are made, how priorities are set, and how cross‑functional teams collaborate throughout the product lifecycle.
This internship is ideal for someone who is curious about how SaaS products are built and maintained, eager to understand customer workflows, and excited to practice strategic thinking in a real‑world environment. You’ll gain exposure to product strategy, market research, project coordination, and the fundamentals of delivering features that support business and customer goals—all while being coached and supported by experienced product leaders.
What does the position pay?
The hourly compensation for this role is $23.00 for undergraduate students and $25.00 for graduate students.
How you will make an impact:
In this role, you’ll:
- Assist the product management team in defining release strategies for patient and provider portals.
- Work alongside engineering teams to develop implementation guides that can be recreated across multiple products and lines of business.
- Develop user-facing documentation including implementation guides, configuration instructions, and training materials to support successful product adoption across customers and internal teams.
- Assist in building go-to-market readiness checklists and launch playbooks, coordinating with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Client Success to ensure new features are deployment-ready and well-supported at release.
- Work alongside Product Managers and cross functional teams to develop product roadmaps through ideation.
- Assist in the development of business plans for new product releases.
- Help create commercialization process for upcoming product releases.
- Present updates to executive team members on product roadmaps and releases.
This is an onsite position at our office in San Diego, CA.
What you will bring to the team:
A combination of the following education and experience factors will be considered:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in developing business plans
- Strong understanding and utilization of Microsoft Excel
