Intrafusion by McKesson is a leading infusion management organization dedicated to optimizing patient access, financial performance, and operational excellence in infusion services. As we expand into new specialties and look to accelerate our growth, we seek a dynamic and growth-oriented VP of Revenue Cycle Management to drive financial integrity and efficiency across our organization.
Position Summary
The VP of Revenue Cycle Management will lead and oversee all aspects of revenue cycle operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic optimization of patient intake, financial counselling, billing, collections, reimbursement, and financial workflows. This executive will design and drive scalable, and AI enabled automated revenue cycle strategies while partnering with clinical, operations, and financial teams to maximize revenue capture, minimize denials, and enhance patient financial experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement an enterprise-wide revenue cycle strategy, supporting infusion services across multiple sites.
- Billing & Collections: Oversee all processes related to coding, claims submission, reimbursement, and accounts receivable management.
- Patient Intake Services: Oversee intake services including benefit verification, financial counseling, prior authorization, and customer call center operations.
- Payer & Contracting Relations: Establish and maintain strong payer relationships, ensuring optimal reimbursement rates and contract compliance.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and payer-specific regulations, including CMS and value-based care initiatives.
- AI, Technology & Process Optimization: Leverage automation and analytics to improve revenue cycle performance, reduce denials, intake time and overall cost to collect and RCM OpEx
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with clinical and operational leadership to ensure smooth revenue cycle integration with patient care workflows.
- Financial Performance Monitoring: Analyze revenue cycle KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and present strategic insights to executive leadership.
- Customer Engagement & Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted consultant for clients, attending Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other key meetings to provide strategic insights on revenue cycle performance, reimbursement optimization, and payer trends. Build strong relationships with customers by proactively addressing financial challenges and aligning solutions with their operational and clinical needs.

- ≥ 98% of sites aligned to enterprise RCM standards within 12 months
Cost-to-Collect Reduction
- ≥ 15% decrease in cost-to-collect per claim through AI automation within 12 months.
AI Workflow Penetration
- ≥ 90% of core RCM workflows automated or AI‑enabled within 12 months.
Patient Financial Satisfaction
- ≥ 90% positive rating on patient financial experience surveys across all sites.
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance, healthcare administration, or a related field (MBA or MHA preferred).
Critical Skills
- 12+ years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management, preferably in infusion, specialty pharmacy, or oncology settings.
- 4+ years of executive leadership experience in revenue cycle management, preferably in infusion, specialty pharmacy, or oncology settings.
- 3+ years of P&L responsibility.
- Expertise in payer contracting, reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare finance.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Deep understanding of compliance (CMS, HIPAA, Stark Law, etc.) and regulatory considerations in infusion services.
- Proven success in scaling revenue cycle operations for a growing healthcare organization.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
