This direct hire opportunity offers a competitive pay range of $62-$68 per hour, depending on experience and licensure, along with up to $10,000 in sign-on or relocation bonuses. Location: Independence, KY (On-site)
Schedule
- Rotating 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 10:30 AM
- Typically 4 days per week on an earlier shift, 1 day per week on a later morning shift
- Occasional weekday shifts as needed
- Weekend rotations every 6th or 8th weekend, though efforts are made to minimize weekend work
Responsibilities
- Accurately process and dispense prescription orders, focusing primarily on generic, some brand-name, and specialty medications
- Provide counseling to patients regarding their healthcare and medication needs
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance for controlled substances and required documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription-related issues
- Adapt to a workflow involving multiple systems and automation technology, such as Parata
Qualifications And Desired Experience
- PharmD or RPh degree with at least 1 year of pharmacist experience
- Active pharmacy license in Kentucky; additional state licenses are highly valued and may increase compensation
- Strong technical skills with the ability to manage multiple systems simultaneously; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
- Personal attributes including accuracy, dependability, excellent communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and teamwork
- Prior mail-order pharmacy experience is highly preferred; retail automation experience is a plus and should be explicitly noted on the resume
