A leading digital mail order pharmacy is seeking five direct hire staff pharmacists to join their growing team. Specializing in dispensing non-insurance medications nationwide, the pharmacy fills predominantly generic prescriptions, with some brand and specialty meds, processing over 200,000 prescriptions monthly and expanding rapidly with new accounts coming in 2026.
This on-site opportunity offers a dynamic work environment with a primary client shift schedule that requires flexibility to start between 6:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Typically, pharmacists work four days on the earlier shift and one day on the later shift each week. Weekend rotations are minimal, occurring approximately every 6th to 8th weekend.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription orders while providing exceptional pharmaceutical care.
- Counsel patients regarding their healthcare and medication needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with controlled substance documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription-related issues.
- Adapt to fast-paced workflow across multiple automated systems, including Parata automation.
Qualifications And Desired Experience
- PharmD or RPh degree with a minimum of one year pharmacy experience.
- Active and in good standing pharmacy license in Kentucky; multiple state licenses preferred.
- Demonstrated accuracy, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and capable of working with two or more software systems simultaneously.
- Prior mail order and retail automation experience is highly valuedensure this is specified in your application.
