About The Role
We are seeking a detail-driven and proactive Credit Manager to join our accounting team. In this high-trust role, you'll oversee the credit function across customer onboarding, risk evaluation, promissory note management, and collections escalation.
You'll play a critical role in protecting our financial position while enabling responsible growth—partnering closely with Sales, Accounts Receivable, Legal, and Finance. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-focused environment, brings strong credit acumen, and enjoys improving processes to build sustainable, scalable programs.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate customers, analyze financial data, approve applications, and set credit terms.
- Review documentation, ensure accurate onboarding, and maintain compliance
- Draft/negotiate promissory notes and payment plans with Legal
- Support collections, resolve disputes, and monitor payment behavior
- Maintain aging reports, exposure summaries, and debt forecasts
- Drive process improvements while ensuring legal and audit compliance.

- Promissory notes and agreements are structured clearly and monitored effectively.
- Risk exposure is minimized through smart credit terms and proactive intervention.

What You'll Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related fields.
- 7+ years in credit, collections, or financial risk roles.
- Strong understanding of credit reporting tools, financial analysis, and risk evaluation.
- Experience negotiating/managing promissory notes or structured payment plans.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and commercial teams.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Industry experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or wholesale distribution preferred.
- NACM certification (CBA, CBF) is a plus.

The Pay Range For This Role Is
100,000 - 115,000 USD per year(Shreveport, LA)
