The Warehouse Operations Manager will have responsibility for the proper operation of the warehouse facility.
- Provides direction and supervision to warehouse associates.
- Responsible for shipping logs, shipping tickets, stock lists, and all other related warehouse records.
- Assumes responsibility for all facility receiving and shipping operations.
- Audits all documents for legibility, accuracy and completeness for all Health, Security and Regulatory Compliance.
- Maintains records for all Powered Industrial Equipment inventory and maintenance.
- Oversees inventory of cage and vault-controlled substance items.
- Oversees the receipts and stocking of controlled products, following quality standards and procedures (e.g., rotating products, pulling dated products).
- Maintains daily and monthly logs on controlled substances stocked, sold, returned, and received.
- Tracks and researches errors and problems with controlled substance inventory.
- Monitors security of area, following department guidelines.
- Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
- Assists with cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Experience & Education:
- Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years of equivalent work experience.
- Experience in inventory control, warehouse logistics, and the mentoring and supervision of others.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and influence others
- Ability to read and understand the English language for following instructions
- Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others
- Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously
- Computer literate
