Job Description
Amneal Pharmaceuticals is looking for a motivated Operations Management Intern to support process optimization and performance tracking within our operations team. The intern will play a key role in developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), creating automated reports, and assisting with workforce training and skill utilization strategies. This internship provides valuable exposure to manufacturing operations, data-driven decision-making, and process improvement in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Create automated reports to support operations leadership and decision-making.
- Assist in the development of training and skill utilization programs for operators.
- Work closely with operations teams to analyze process data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and operational processes.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a Science-related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data management and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with operational data.
- Interest in manufacturing operations, process optimization, and workforce development.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
This internship provides a hands-on learning experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and offers valuable exposure to process improvement, data analysis, and workforce training development.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma or GED—Required
- Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate program—Required
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0—Required
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must commit to the full 10-12-week duration of the internship.
