Summary
In this role, you will lead Vizient strategy, cross-discipline innovation, operations, and delivery of the Supply Chain Solutions business that oversees all outsourced and managed spend management accounts for Vizient. Appropriately improve performance, grow market share, and enhance the long-term partnership mindset of Vizient's “supply chain transformation” accounts. You will partner with Vizient spend management, pharmacy, strategy, and quality & operations leadership to achieve an integrated solution set and work to integrate Vizient technology, data, and trusted advisor resources into solutions to optimize member value and enhance long-term member partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Measure and manage key business performance indicators against forecasted objectives; prioritize and implement key improvement areas.
- Drive innovative and profitable deal structures and provide the infrastructure necessary for successful execution across all supply chain operations
- Lead conversations with existing and potential clients in key discussions.
- Drive transformation in the solution set, incorporate and augment new solutions, drive effective go-to-market strategies, and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Establish and maintain strong knowledge, awareness, and understanding of the markets’ dynamics to ensure consistent deployment of best practices across all managed accounts
- Exercise clear leadership and focus on supply assurance, category expertise, competitive activities, and general economic conditions.
- Provide end-to-end oversight for the supply chain solutions business
Qualifications
- Relevant degree preferred, Master’s degree desired.
- 15 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Experience across a broad spectrum of Supply Chain disciplines, including distribution, sourcing, and logistics.
- A successful track record in leading senior-level strategy initiatives is preferred.
- Written and verbal financial and business analysis skills at complex levels required.
- Experience effectively presenting to and influencing “C” level decision makers – CEO, COO, CFO required.
- Ability to understand healthcare member needs and objectives from a programmatic, financial, technical, and organizational perspective required.
- Demonstrated sales and service performance in all size members in addition to the ability to build strategic, collaborative teams.
- Consultative solution-selling experience, providing solutions to complex client issues preferred.
- Trusted advisor, strong executive presence, and complex business problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
