Summary
In this role, you will provide leadership and feedback into the development and implementation of the Member Networks strategy with an emphasis on member engagement, satisfaction, retention, growth, and Vizient business goals for chief medical and data executives. With the support of senior leadership, you will partner across Member Networks, with Performance Improvement leaders and Vizient Business Units to deliver and develop a contemporary and cutting-edge member experience that supports members in achieving their cost, quality, and market performance goals.
Responsibilities
- With the support of senior leaders organize and execute highly engaged member executive networks and online Community Platform exchanges that advance the strategic, operational, and market success of members through discovery, knowledge sharing, learning, collaboration, improvement, and innovation with peers and industry leaders.
- Is a physician expert and leader for designated member network responsibility (i.e. medical and data executives) current on industry trends, innovations, and best practices to support member needs and network focus.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key member audiences for assigned audiences to strengthen member engagement in Networks and other Vizient offerings, positioning Vizient as the preferred industry resource.
- Support the engagement of our system clinical executives network members (medical) through building our system medical executive experience, overseeing team and member interactions within personas to support the team in solving member challenges, transferring knowledge around leading practices, and identifying emerging member needs.
- Oversee the planning, organization, and facilitation of Chief Medical and Data Executive Network(s) meetings, executive advisory boards/committees, member groups, taskforces, leadership series, and webinars to deliver Networks communications, agendas, and content within budget, with appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs), and with high satisfaction and value.
- Oversee engagement metrics, evaluation and synthesis of trends, and supports team's actions steps; Oversees and implements leading practices
- Collaborate with senior leaders and team to ensure that Member Executives are positioned in the appropriate cohorts available to them through Member Networks.
- Partner with senior leaders to identify, develop, and coordinate linkages among network members and with other Vizient functional areas.
- Develop, collaborate, lead, and support the success of assigned Vizient Member Networks staff to promote the team and Network development.
- Is viewed as a trusted partner/peer and helps position Vizient as a preferred industry resource for member chief medical officers.
- Provide insight/input to “topic-based networks” emerging issues identification.
- Partner and contribute to Member Networks team in achieving revenue generation through member retention, proactively identify opportunities for member sales growth, and respond to member inquiries for additional services facilitated through intentional programming and placement of Vizient offerings in Member Network events.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree preferred. Master’s or Doctorate degree desired.
- 10 or more years of leading physician teams or working for a medical association required.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with an ability to lead enterprise-wide projects.
- Experience in presenting education and/or expert content.
- Ability to interpret and discuss operational, clinical, marketing and financial related health care data and analytics preferred.
- Excellent oral communication, interpersonal, writing skills.
- Excellent project management, planning and analytical skills.
- Must be proficient with all MS Office Products.
- Willingness to travel.
Estimated Hiring Range
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $156,500.00 to $273,700.00.
This position is also incentive eligible.
