The role of the
Financial Analysis Manager will be to quarterback global financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for Bioprocessing and Purification Technologies (BPT), one of Ecolab’s Life Sciences division including oversight of Planning and Closing Calendar, division P&L, Capital and Balance Sheet activities. This role will report to the division Director of Finance - FP&A and have significant exposure and growth opportunities working with Senior Management team committed to associate development.
Main Responsibilities
- Execute, oversee routine FP&A tasks including proactively owning FP&A calendar, financial consolidation, monthly close / forecasting, and capital reporting.
- Drive annual FP&A Plan / Strategic Business Review activities.
- Further develop FP&A capabilities within the Purolite (BPT) finance function including management financial reporting, pricing / supply chain analysis, other key insights
- Support Sector, Division and Corporate integration projects, initiatives.
- Provide financial insights and support to the BPT, Life Sciences and Corporate senior leadership team.
- Participate in critical financial modeling and capital authorization (CAR) processes related to key Purolite Cap Ex projects.
- Partner with Ecolab corporate finance to drive critical reporting needs, capabilities.
Base Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar degree
- 5 years total experience with relevant experience in FP&A and/or Control in a Global organization
- At least 1 year experience in FP&A in a Global or a Regional function, consolidating budget and managing P&L from multiple countries/regions and managing Budget calendar and deliverables
- Willing to work in our King of Prussia office on a hybrid schedule (three days in office, two days remote)
- Experience creating and maintaining financial models.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong and comprehensive financial analytical experience
- Prior experience in the Industrial/Manufacturing sector, Pharma industry is plus
- Strong and comprehensive experience in creating and maintaining financial models.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to process improvement while effectively managing current processes while transformational initiatives are being implemented
- Proactively challenges the status quo and drives change by asking fundamental, “first principles” questions.
- Exhibits high coachability and a strong willingness to accept and act on feedback for continuous improvement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to relate financial concepts to various stakeholders.
- Ability to independently manage and complete complex tasks with strict deadlines, maintaining and driving a high level of organization and proactive anticipation.
- Experience in collaborative project management and cross-functional initiatives.
- Capable of performing detailed, heavy-lifting finance work with spreadsheets but also effectively presenting and communicating with stakeholders from various areas, including non-finance audiences.
- Willingness to understand the business, growth drivers, risks, and opportunities, and genuinely cares about the outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Strong finance system skills (Desired: Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Essbase, SAP, PowerBI)
Annual Or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $104,700.00 - $157,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
