Job Objective:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales manager to lead our Strategic sales team, Community sales team, pharmacy hub sales and inventory management sales. They will develop strategic initiatives and ensure the successful execution of plans to drive significant growth and achieve revenue targets. They will provide leadership in setting sales team priorities, schedules, training, and coaching.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of sales directors, providing mentorship, coaching, and strategic direction.
- Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
- Work with leadership to target new revenue streams for growth.
- Sales Enablement:
- Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively engage with customers and close deals.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Foster strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Attend industry and market specific trade shows to engage with prospects and customers.
- Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
- Sales Forecasting:
- Design and implement sales strategies to ensure accurate sales forecasting and regular pipeline reviews with team members.
- Report on market successes and challenges to leadership.
- Sales Pipeline:
- Track and grow the sales pipeline with the Business Development team.
- Review pipeline on a weekly basis with Sales Directors.
- Pricing and Contracts:
- Ensure accurate pricing and contracts terms and conditions.
- Validate pricing discounts are tracked and approved by leadership.
- Sales Compensation Tracking:
- Manage the sales compensation plan and track performance against targets.
- Work with finance to ensure accurate and timely payment of commissions.
- Work with Sales Directors to track and address any commission issues.
- Collaboration:
- Oversee cross-functional collaboration between business units.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree with relevant business experience.
- 5+ years of management or sales experience with proven track record in driving revenue growth within the healthcare industry.
- Deep understanding of the 340B drug purchasing program and its regulations is preferred.
- Experience working in a goal oriented, quarterly focused and dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in sales enablement and coaching.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Proficient in utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM and suite of MS products.
Working Conditions:
The job conditions for this position are for a standard home office setting. Employee in this position will use a laptop PC for online web conference calls and presentations (including on-camera video) and the use of a mobile phone on an on-going basis throughout the day and will be expected to have a home office infrastructure (Wi-Fi, cell phone, etc.) to support such activity. Travel may be up to 50% of the time including attending various industry trade shows, client presentations and internal company meetings.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
