As a
Sales Development Intern, you will be immersed in all things sales and learning the One Oracle way. The internship will begin with a week of training that includes a comprehensive curriculum where interns begin to learn consultative selling skills and Oracle solutions. This serves as the base of learning and provides you with the tools to lay the foundation for your future sales career. You will spend the summer connecting with real customers through targeted outreach and working alongside our highly collaborative sales team. - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, and completing your sophomore or junior year by summer 2025. Must be returning to the degree program after completion of the internship.
- Strong interest in sales and technology
- Business Administration, Business Marketing, Sales Concentration, and Communications major preferred
- GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
- Competitive with a strong work ethic
- Demonstrated resilience.
- Coachable & intellectually curious
- Persuasive, professional, and prepared
- Strong written and verbal communication
- This role is an in-office role.

What You’ll Do
A challenging, exciting internship that will build your sales skills, tenacity, prospecting skills, critical thinking capabilities, ability to remain focused, and follow-through. You will be provided the tools, training, coaching, and people resources to help you be successful. You will uncover and qualify leads through phone, email, and social outreach for new prospects and/or existing customers. You will work alongside Oracle’s sales teams to convert these leads to qualified pipeline. Join a professional workplace where you’ll improve your skills and build a solid professional foundation.
As a Sales Development Intern you will:
- Build sales pipeline using cold calling methodologies and social selling.
- Build a strong foundation of industry competence, Oracle product knowledge & sales methodology that will provide credibility when interacting with decision-makers.
- Develop sales skills vital to identify and qualify new business opportunities and/or expansion/upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team on go-to-market strategy, demand generation activities and targets.
- Present a final capstone project to culminate your intern experience.

US: Hiring Range: from $18.99 - $53.00 per hour; from $39,500 - $110,240 per year.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

- Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

- Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
