Job Title
The Manager, Technology Operations reports to the Senior Manager Technology Operations who is responsible for leading a team of technical resources who specialize in installation, configuration, and support of interfaces coding or databases planning and execution. The Manager, Technology Operations is responsible for their direct reports to develop and support team cohesion as well as support team in achieving cross functional successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and Mentor interface or database teams specializing in creation, configuration, and support or interfaces or databases.
- Establish and Assess compliance of process and product best practices
- Monitor projects for positive progression toward key technical deliverables to achieve timelines
- Liaison between cross functional team engagements and communication
- Develop technical standards and processes to drive efficient positive projects
- Lead cross functional efforts to resolve or abate escalations
- Analyze, plan, and implement technical/training needs of the team
- Act as escalation point to facilitate internal and external customers
- Participate in Strategic Initiatives to drive positive future outcomes
- Participate in product and process development to achieve future state vision for implementations
- Create a positive culture of inclusion and collaboration
- Detail oriented, independent, and able to adjust to changing priorities
- Assist in developing and executing effective practices, tools and standards for implementations.
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of industry standards on database or interface requirements
- Ability to plan, communicate, delegate, and persuade personnel up to a C-Suite level
- Strong planning, organizational and presentation skills
- Understanding of I/T principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
- Understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills, from business to higher level technical matters.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Basic Knowledge of Powerpoint
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or minimum one year experience in related field
- Five years or more of experience demonstrated in database build/configuration, or technical implementation experience
- Excellent customer verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Bachelors or Masters Degree or Professional Certification in CS, MIS, Healthcare, or relate field
- Five years Healthcare I/T experience
- Knowledge of Omnicell products application or interface installation and configuration
- Pharmacy or Clinical Operations Work Experience
- Knowledge on a wide range of Omnicell departments and how those teams interrelate and function.
- Three years personnel management experience
- Three years experience with Microsoft Windows
Work Conditions
- Remote work position
- Occasional availability during non-business hours may be required to accommodate customers
