Senior Partnerships Marketing Associate
We are looking for a Senior Partnerships Marketing Associate to join the Partnerships Marketing team within our Marketing division. In this role, the Senior Partnerships Marketing Associate will work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with diverse stakeholders across the business including but not limited to the Partnerships, Payer, Customer Marketing, Brand, Operations, Customer Success, Sales and other various cross-functional Marketing teams. This individual will play a key role in supporting the execution and success of our Value-Added Services (VAS) program, as well as internal and external marketing campaigns. These efforts are focused on increasing awareness of our Marketplace and Payer partners, driving partner adoption and growth, and enhancing external and internal understanding of our Partnership programs and platform value.

The Partnerships Marketing team is integral to the success of the athenahealth Marketplace. From driving awareness and adoption to fostering growth and ensuring partner and customer success, the team’s efforts are aligned with achieving athenahealth’s business goals of fueling a thriving ecosystem. The team fosters strong partner relationships, drives revenue growth and enhances program awareness, connections and enablement.
Job Responsibilities
Drive VAS bookings and oversee successful execution of services
Communicate directly with partners on daily basis to create both curated and scalable marketing plans, while managing bookings, deadlines, execution, and frequently asked questions
Execute and project manage VAS program and services, working cross-functionally with Parentships, Marketplace Operations, Customer Marketing, Events and Brand teams
Oversee VAS calendar, reporting, deadlines, content collection, performance optimization, and related program collateral
Lead the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns designed to increase program awareness, partner adoption, and customer connections
Work with cross-functional teams, including Partnerships, Payer, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success to design and execute campaigns that align with business goals and drive measurable results
Leverage program data to ensure campaigns are aligned with customer and Payer needs and partners are effectively matched to customers who can benefit from their solutions
Partner with customer-facing and internal enablement teams to equip them with the necessary tools, content, and talking points to effectively promote Marketplace partners to our customers
Typical Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or related field
3+ years in B2B marketing or related field
Confident in managing and resolving issues with challenging clients/partners, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client/partner satisfaction
Proven success in closing mid-sized contracts (preferred)
Experience in go-to-market planning and campaign execution
Proficient in budget planning and management
Confident in analyzing data and using insights to implement effective strategies and drive results
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Experience in creating customer and customer-facing team collateral and marketing content
Copywriting experience (preferred in B2B SaaS, health tech, or tech industries) (preferred)
Strong problem-solving, investigative, and organizational skills
Excellent time management and multitasking in fast-paced environments
Strong client/partner relationship management skills
